Side steps are designed and built for the L2/144″ wheelbase. The Side Steps come in a pair of two. The driver’s side provides a large, extra step at the front door with tubes extending all the way to the rear wheel arch. The driver’s side has special brackets to allow the installation of an extra tank underneath the van.
The passenger’s side is a double step for both the front and sliding door. The tube extends all the way from the front doors to the rear wheel arch. The step of the side door is slightly smaller for any tight corners.
The Side Steps stay within the outer dimensions of the van (mirror distance). And they can also be changed in the overhang position. More towards or further away from the van.
The Side Steps are mounted with special steel brackets that extend to the frame rail of the van, so they are not only mounted on the side sills themselves. There are 3 brackets on the driver’s side and 4 on the passenger side. The brackets will be mounted with blind rivet nuts in the steel frame of the van.
The Side Steps feature many options and are adjustable. They can be adjusted in an overhang position of 20mm per side. This will give you the option to have the best visual depending on the tires on the van. The large openings in the sidesteps allow mud and snow to through the panels easily and therefore remain grip. The sidesteps are designed in a way to lose the minimum amount of ground clearance to have the best off-road experience.
The side steps are divisible similar to the Dutchvanparts roof rack system so they can be shipped to your doorstep. And it allows you to opt for a Side Step from the front wheel arch to the rear wheel arch when you have no side ladder. Or when you do have a side ladder you can decide to opt for the Side Steps that are ~45cm shorter on the passenger side of the vehicle to leave space for a side ladder.

Do these side steps also function as rock sliders?
They are designed to be lightweight and are not made from solid steel however small obstacles like rocks and wood does not harm your van as much anymore.
Will this also fit on 2WD vans?
Yes, however, a 2″ lift would be recommended.
Do I need to drill holes in the van?
Yes; in the sill you need to drill the holes for the rivet nuts, and for the bracket smaller bolts.

Parcel or Freight
Orders will be shipped by either pallet or parcel depending on the product and/or order size. Certain products are only shipped by pallet. Adding such a product to your order will automatically mean a pallet shipping price will be calculated at checkout.
Parcel shipping prices are calculated per product as most products are very large and can not be combined into one parcel. Large orders of only parcel products may still be shipped on pallets for better shipping efficiency.

We currently ship within the EU. If you want your products to be shipped but the webshop does not offer to ship for the location on your order, please contact us so we can give you a shipping quote.

Local Pick Up
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop at the Leemskuilen 15 in Westerhoven, 5563CL. ONLY WITH AN APPOINTMENT.
After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up (if all products are in stock) within 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready.
Orders with back-ordered products can be picked up in batches. Contact us if you want to pickup your products in stock.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from our shipping partner which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your Track and Trace within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Returns are accepted for 14 days after the customer received or picks up the package. The products must be in like-new condition and arrive back in like-new/saleable condition. If a mistake or manufacturing defect return is authorized Dutchvanparts will cover the return shipping costs.
Returns are not accepted on products that have been drilled or modified. This would include items like Cargo Boxes that are drilled for mounting etc.
In the event, a return is authorized for reasons outside of manufacturing, packaging, insurance, and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. All refunds will be processed once the product is received back at Dutchvanparts in like-new condition and free from damage. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a return authorization before shipping.
Any modifications, damage, or holes drilled into a vehicle to mount or use a Dutchvanparts product or third-party products are the sole responsibility of the owner. Dutchvanparts will not refund, pay, repair, or make any sort of remedy for a vehicle that has been modified in the event of a return.
Order Cancellation fee (Paypal or Credit Card)
Orders paid using Paypal or Credit Card which are canceled will be charged a 3,5% restocking fee. Dutchvanparts is not able to recover the processing fees on the transaction. Due to the high cost of our products, it can be serval hundreds of dollars for our business. This fee is not refundable and is what we are charged when someone cancels an order.
