Dutchvanparts Mercedes Benz Side Ladder
A Side ladder on your Mercedes Sprinter will give the easiest and best accessibility to your roof (rack). It provides the most stability for climbing to get equipment, for example, canoes or sups, onto your roof especially when the rear Cargo Ladder is full of equipment. Besides the ladder looks really cool as it adds more ruggedness to the side of your van.
To be able to get it to you for a reasonable shipping price we have made the 240cm long side ladder divisible in two parts of approximately 120cm.
The revised steps are more comfortable to walk than the round tube of the previous side ladder model and the hole pattern provides more grip. Additionally, these steps extend farther outward than the side tubes, increasing the distance between the steps and the van. This reduces the risk of accidentally hitting your feet on the van. Moreover, positioning the tubes closer to the vehicle than the steps minimizes the overall protrusion of the side ladder.
The distance between the side ladder and the van is roughly 10 centimeters at both the top and bottom, while in the middle, it measures approximately 12 centimeters. To maximize ground clearance, the bottom of the side ladder is angled inward. The entire side ladder remains within the confines of the side-view mirror.
Standard adapters for mounting on the Dutchvanparts Basecamp and Camp 2 roof racks are included. However, the top mounting points are universal and it is possible to mount on another roof rack or with a customized bracket on just roof rails.
The Side Ladder fits on The Mercedes Benz Sprinter W906 and W907 (NCV3 / VS30) and on L2, L3, and L4. However, it only fits on the H2 and not any other height.
Standard it is not possible to mount the side ladder behind the wheel arch.
In general, the Side Ladder works with most flares.
There may be adapters developed in the future specifically designed for Hymers with pop-up roofs. However, we do not have any additional information regarding the timing or specific implementation of these adapters at this moment.
The Side Ladder goes together with the Dutchvanparts Side Steps L2 and L3 adapted for a side ladder.
The regulations for side ladders are different per country in the EU. It is your responsibility to check what your country requires. Dutchvanparts does not accept any liability nor hold responsibility for the regulations you need to abide by or any problems you might encounter with this product.
Orders are processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after the payment has been received. You will receive a notification email when your order has shipped or is ready for pickup.

Parcel or Freight
Orders will be shipped by either pallet or parcel depending on the product and/or order size. Certain products are only shipped by pallet. Adding such a product to your order will automatically mean a pallet shipping price will be calculated at checkout.
Parcel shipping prices are calculated per product as most products are very large and can not be combined into one parcel. Large orders of only parcel products may still be shipped on pallets for better shipping efficiency.

We currently ship within the EU. If you want your products to be shipped but the webshop does not offer to ship for the location on your order, please contact us so we can give you a shipping quote.

Local Pick Up
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop at the Leemskuilen 15 in Westerhoven, 5563CL. ONLY WITH AN APPOINTMENT.
After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up (if all products are in stock) within 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready.
Orders with back-ordered products can be picked up in batches. Contact us if you want to pickup your products in stock.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from our shipping partner which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your Track and Trace within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Returns are accepted for 14 days after the customer received or picks up the package. The products must be in like-new condition and arrive back in like-new/saleable condition. If a mistake or manufacturing defect return is authorized Dutchvanparts will cover the return shipping costs.
Returns are not accepted on products that have been drilled or modified. This would include items like Cargo Boxes that are drilled for mounting etc.
In the event, a return is authorized for reasons outside of manufacturing, packaging, insurance, and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. All refunds will be processed once the product is received back at Dutchvanparts in like-new condition and free from damage. Please email email@example.com for a return authorization before shipping.
Any modifications, damage, or holes drilled into a vehicle to mount or use a Dutchvanparts product or third-party products are the sole responsibility of the owner. Dutchvanparts will not refund, pay, repair, or make any sort of remedy for a vehicle that has been modified in the event of a return.
Order Cancellation fee (Paypal or Credit Card)
Orders paid using Paypal or Credit Card which are canceled will be charged a 3,5% restocking fee. Dutchvanparts is not able to recover the processing fees on the transaction. Due to the high cost of our products, it can be serval hundreds of dollars for our business. This fee is not refundable and is what we are charged when someone cancels an order.
